Glass cannot handle cold

I have all but the wine glasses in this set. I love the color and the weight of this glassware. The only pieces I have had a problem with is the Tall Tumblers. I have had 2 of them split into two pieces while filling with cold water from a dispenser. Both times a glass was being filled with cold water and when the glass was almost full; it cracked from one side to the other and fell into two pieces. Water went every where. My guests were only shocked and not injured, thankfully, on both occasions. I wrote Artland (the manufacturer) and have not heard back from them. No manufacturer support there! I give the rest of the set a 5 rating but, these tall tumblers cannot take temperature change and I rate with a 1.

These glasses are beautiful. Very thick glass. Look handblown, love the bubbles and it gives a slight texture to the glass. A joy to drink from, love em! They are worth the price~

these glasses are the kind that will last for a very long time. they are not too thick (I thought they may be) and in my opinion not too heavy but with weight enough to last. they are very pretty too. as a lover of green glass the color is a prfect warm green. the only thing I would change would be to maybe taper the glass as it goes down to the bottom for easier holding with smaller hands.
